What is MSM
MSM is a financial stock market game that utilizes the trivial music and entertainment information available to teens to teach financial terms by identifying similarities between artists and a company.
The Market
There is a lack of financial education in schools. This is an important subject that is omitted in the curriculum due to the lack of interest among teens. We are using a familiar subject among teens (Music and Entertainment) to teach financial terms. The software is free and was used in Dade County Public Schools for over 6 years. The program awarded scholarships and participated as a board member on the National Academy of Finance.
